Updated | By MornéJK
23-year-old Craig Lucas from Elsies River has been crowned the winner of the second season of the Voice South Africa.
In a star-studded finale, Lucas was announced as the winner after a record breaking 1.6 million votes were cast.
Craig made his first foray into singing on stage with his soulful rendition of "House of The Rising Sun".
He says while music has always been his passion, he first had to keep his promise to his mother - to complete his studies. The new Voice of South Africa also holds an honours degree in Finance.
