[WATCH] ‘Griekwastad’ to debut this year
A film telling the story of the horrific Griekwastad murders will hit the big screen by the end of this year.
In April 2012, the brutal murder of the Steenkamp family left South Africans reeling and also made international news.
Deon (44), Christelle (43) and their 14-year-old daughter Marthella were brutally murdered on their farm Naauwhoek.
Marthella was also raped prior to the murder.

Don Steenkamp, the 15-year-old son, was convicted of the family’s murder in 2014.
Production house SCENE123 in collaboration with Kyknet Films will showcase ‘Griekwastad’ at the KykNET Silwerskerm Film Festival.
