"I had to hug her for everything that has happened." A 14-year-old girl went viral after she decided to hug the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.
On Saturday, Prince William, Princess Kate, Prince Harry, and the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle reunited outside Windsor to greet well-wishers after the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

They collected flowers and spoke to the well-wishers that have been waiting for them.
One particular moment went viral after a 14-year-old girl decided to hug Markle.

The special moment was instantly shared on television and across social media platforms.
CNN interviewed the girl and this is what she had to say:
"We were waiting for her to come and she asked my name and for how long I have been waiting and I asked her if I can have a hug. It was an amazing moment. I'm still shaking. I can't explain the feeling when she did it but it was really nice. I felt like I needed to (hug her). I look up to her and it felt like the right thing to do. I had to show her that she is welcome here. I had to hug her for everything that has happened."
