A message that echoes through the pages of the latest SARIE magazine and that SARIE Editor-in-chief Michélle van Breda is quite proud of.
"August is women's month - and there is no better person to put on the cover than Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi. She is a 'different' kind of beauty queen. She went out and showed the world who she truly is," van Breda told Jacaranda FM.
"She is so true to herself - and she represents thousands of South African women."
"When she was on the Miss Universe stage - she proudly said that girls and women need to "take up space."
"That is exactly why we used her for this month's cover. She and the women of South Africa are taking up space. Women must look at this cover and know that they are enough."
