5 killed, 3 injured in separate drive-by shootings in Tongaat

Five people have been killed in two separate shooting incidents in Tongaat, north of Durban.

Samantha Meyrick of IPSS Medical Rescue says both attacks happened on Thursday afternoon.
"The first occurred on the R102 near the Engen garage. This left two people dead and one person injured.
"The second shooting occurred a short while later, at the Fairbreeze intersection to the R64, this has left three people dead and a further two people injured."
Police are on scene to investigate.
Paramedics have also rushed a man to hospital in a serious condition after he was shot in Durban's Glenwood area.
ALS Paramedics says he was shot in the legs.
No further details are available at this stage.
