All rise for Judge Barbie!

Toymaker Mattel has taken another step in their bid to have the iconic Barbie doll more aspirational by launching a Judge Barbie doll.
Lisa McKnight, senior vice president and global brand general manager of Barbie, told US media that Barbie's “Career of the Year” Barbie for 2019 is a judge as Mattel ams to focus on careers where female numbers are lacking.

Recently, Barbie launched a doll in a wheelchair with its own line of limited-Edition wheelchair accessories.

A number of Barbies based on international role-modes have also recently been revealed with South African musician and businesswoman Lerato "Lira" Molapo becoming the first African to have a Barbie doll made in her image.
