Poo’s body was found in Wattville, east of Johannesburg.

Her body was discovered a day after she went missing, while her leg and arm were missing from her corpse.

Speaking to the media shortly after a court adjournment on Tuesday, Bokgabo’s mother Tsholofelo described her daughter’s brutal death as “a pain and scar that I’m going to live with for the rest of my life”.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested for Bokgabo’s murder.

Ntokozo Zikhali has been charged with kidnapping, rape, murder and violating her corpse.

The case against Zikhali has been postponed until 30 March where further investigations are expected to take place.

This will also give time for the Director of Public Prosecutions to determine if the matter should be conducted in the regional or high court.

Bokgabo’s father Irvin Ndlovu expressed his disappointment at yet another postponement.

“I’m broken, this is stalling, and taking time.”
