Updated | By JacarandaFM News
Several Curro Academy pupils in Diepsloot were injured on Tuesday morning after a driver lost control of her car in the school’s parking lot.

The driver was subsequently arrested for reckless and negligent driving.
Gauteng's spokesperson for community safety Obed Sibisa says the driver apparently lost control of her car.
Sibisa says the six pupils - aged between five and 11 - were waiting in line to get sanitised and screened when the car crashed into them.

One was airlifted to hospital while another was rushed by ambulance for serious injuries.
"It is alleged that the driver lost control of her vehicle at parking bay at Curro Academy, skidded and crashed into a group of learners who were waiting in a queue to be sanitised and screened.
"Four were treated on the scene for minor injuries."
Sibasa says the driver was dropping off her child at the same school.
