Doom-spraying pastor: Tiger Brands speaks out
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
The maker of Doom, Tiger Brands, has asked controversial Pastor Lethabo Rabalago to stop spraying the insecticide in people's faces.

Photos of Rabalago spraying congregants of the Mountzion General Assembly in Limpopo with Doom went viral.
The Commission for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Cultural, Religious and Linguistic Communities says they are investigating the incident.

Tiger Brands spokesperson Nevashnee Naicker says they have approached the pastor.
"He says he talks to the can and, therefore, it's no longer Doom and it's no longer dangerous for people, but then he can use water and put that in a spray can," says Naicker.
Naicker says there are clear warning labels on the can that instruct people how to use the product in a safe way.
"You are using it in your home, so it's not going to kill you. It is not toxic in that sense. It was never intended to be sprayed on your face and if that does happen you have to wash you face, hands and eyes and seek medical attention," says Naicker.
