Ekurhuleni Mayor hands out gifts to needy children
Updated | By Silindelo Masikane
With Christmas right around the corner the Mayor of Ekurhuleni, Mzwandile Masina & his wife Sinazo have handed out gifts to children at Bertha Gxowa Hospital's Paediatric Ward.

"We are here to visit a few children who are not well. It is the festive season and it is tough for most parents to be here during this time," the mayor said.
Masina also wished all the residents of the city a merry festive season.
They were joined by soccer player Simphiwe Tshabalala and his wife while parents of the children say they are happy with the gifts and that some of them will be home for Christmas.
The hand out is part of the City of Ekurhuleni's efforts to spread some festive cheer with vulnerable residents.
The Mayor and his wife will also attend a 120-year-old's Christmas Party.
