Joburg records 2.8 magnitude earthquake
Updated | By Cliff Shiko
The Council for Geoscience has confirmed a 2.8 magnitude earthquake in Johanneburg on Monday.

The tremor was felt on the West Rand, including areas around Roodepoort.
Chief scientist Michelle Grobbelaar says the quake was recorded at 10:42am.
Last week Sunday a powerful 5.0 magnitude earthquake shook Johannesburg, with the epicentre being Boksburg on the East Rand.
Johannesburg emergency services spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi said no reports of damage to buildings or infrastructure were reported.
This time I felt two tremors seconds apart. In Roodepoort. The tremor itself is not scary since we have felt it before but the frequent occurrences is what scares me. #Tremor #earthquake
