Lauren Dickason to plead not guilty to killing 3 children

South African-born doctor Lauren Dickason will plead not guilty to killing her three young daughters.

The 40-year-old, who recently emigrated to New Zealand with her family, is due to stand trial for the killing of her daughters Liané, 6, and 2-year-old twins Maya and Karla.
She is in a high-security facility for mental evaluation.

According to the New Zealand Herald, Dickason remains under observation at the mental health unit at Hillmorton Hospital.
She thus did not make a court appearance at the High Court in Timaru on Friday - even via video link.
Her case has been postponed to 17 December, while the murder trial has been scheduled for March 2023.
