Graham Watson has seen sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of his ex-girlfriend Angelique Fourie.

The Mpumalanga Delmas High Court convicted and sentenced the 33-year-old to life imprisonment and three years for the murder of his 27-year-old ex-girlfriend.
Fourie succumbed to her injuries after being stabbed by Watson in November last year.
Watson went to Fourie’s Trichardt home where he found her and another person.
An argument ensued between Watson, the person (the complainant), and Fourie.
The complainant left the house after Fourie intervened.
“He [then] took a kitchen knife and stabbed the deceased several times. He then set a plastic dustbin on fire, took their 3-year-old minor child, and fled the scene,” said Mpumalanga NPA spokesperson Monica Nyuswa.
He stabbed her in the neck and she was declared dead at the scene.
“We hope that this sentence will send a strong message that violent crimes will not be tolerated but will be prosecuted.”
