Twelve people have been killed in a bus crash on the N1 route near Mookgophong on Monday morning.

Limpopo Transport Department spokesperson, Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala, says the bus was travelling from Zambia to South Africa.
Moremi-Taueatsoala says the bus got a tyre puncher, leading to the driver losing control and the vehicle overturning.
"At least 12 passengers are confirmed to be deceased," says Moremi-Taueatsoala.
He adds two are in a critical condition and nine other passengers suffered serious injuries.
About 30 passengers were also slightly injured.
Moremi-Taueatsoala says home affairs officials are on the ground to identify foreign nationals involved in the incident.
