[LISTEN] Amy’Leigh’s granddad: She is still struggling

The grandfather of 6-year-old Amy’Leigh de Jager has told media that the child is still struggling after her traumatic kidnapping in September.
Christo de Jager spoke to journalists after Magistrate Hussein Kotha handed down judgment on the bail application of the four suspects accused of her kidnapping.

"My granddaughter is struggling, but I don't think it's the issue that we need to discuss today," he said.

Tharina Human, Pieter van Zyl, Leticia Nel and Mohlomohi Bafokeng were all nabbed by police shortly after Amy’Leigh was found.
All of the accused have been charged with kidnapping and extortion.
The case has been remanded to November 13 with Human, Van Zyl and Bafokeng all remaining behind bars.
