LISTEN: Body found on Durban's North Beach

A body of a man has been found has been found on Durban's North Beach.
A fisherman made the discovery on Thursday night after his fishing rod got hooked onto the body.

"In the early hours of this morning, the police were called to attend to a person who drowned in the North Beach area. On arrival, our search and rescue team recovered the body. An inquest has been opened," says police spokesperson Thulani Zwane.
On Wednesday, another man's body was found floating outside the Durban Port.
Last month, the body of an 18-year-old boy was found near Durban's South Beach.
The boy drowned while swimming with fellow pupils.
