LISTEN: No load-shedding this winter, says Eskom

South Africans can expect lights to stay on this winter as
Eskom has confirmed it has no plans to implement load-shedding.
CEO, Phakamani Hadebe, confirmed this at the launch of Eskom's weekly system status report.
"We have seen the numbers we are looking at about 34 000 megawatts and the demand might go to 35 000 megawatts at worst on a cold day, which will leave us with 3000 megawatts or so and we are comfortable about that unless something drastic happens," said Hadebe.
He says the country's electricity grid is at a safer place than it was before.
