Tuesday marks the fourth anniversary of Madiba's passing.
The foundation's Luzuko Koti says South Africans need to commemorate Mandela by living his dreams and values.
"As a foundation we would like everyone to take this moment and remember him. Remember his values and identify with it. Also think about the dream and promises he made to all of us; that South Africa will be a better country today. But we know that we very far from that dream.

"We know that there still so much that has to be done. This should embarrass all of us. We feel that if we remember him in a meaningful and fitting way, we will somehow replant the seed that was beginning to grow and killed by ourselves.
"This day reminds us how much we miss Madiba. We wish he was among us. Not only because his Madiba but also the kind of leadership he provided. The values people drew from him, is what's missing in South Africa," says Koti.
