Updated | By Laila Majiet and Bishop Baloyi
Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande has officially opened the Vhembe TVET College campus in Shingwedzi in Malamulele today.
It's expected to be used as the official branch of the college which will open its doors next year.
"We need artisans. That is partly why we're opening this campus in Malamulele, so we can train our youngsters to be able to expand water services to our communities," says Nzimande.
The Minister used the opportunity to highlight government's plans to subsidise fee increases for the poor and the "missing middle".
