Minister of International Relations and Cooperation (Dirco), Naledi Pandor says the South Africans recently repatriated from Wuhan, China will make fantastic foot soldiers in the fight against the COVID-19 Coronavirus.
This comes after President Cyril Ramaphosa declared The Ranch resort in Limpopo a green zone after everyone at the resort were found to be COVID-19 free by health officials.
Some 100 South Africans have been residing in quarantine at the resort since they were repatriated from Wuhan, China.
The repatriates will be released on Sunday after spending 14 days at the resort.

Pandor spoke at the repatriate’s official send-off from quarantine in Polokwame where she said they can now spread the message on the Coronavirus.
“We have to make sure that we win and I think that you are going to be fantastic foot soldiers to go out there and say to South Africans: ‘this is a reality, this is true, it does happen but you can stay safe.’
“Everybody must exercise true care and I really think as you WhatsApp, as you Tweet say that its real but we can be safe,” said Pandor.
