Parts of Pretoria East without electricity
Several parts of Pretoria East are without electricity following a 132kV Transformer trip at the Wapadrand Substation on Friday morning.
The Koedoeberg substation and Lombardy substation have also been affected by the power trip.
Several areas have been affected by the power trip.
This includes Faerie Glen, Olympus and Zwavelpoort, Tierpoort Plots and other surrounding areas, Equestria and D-Line and a small portion of Die Wilgers
City spokesperson Lindela Mashigo says teams have been dispatched to investigate the cause of the trip.
"At this stage, there is no estimated time of restoring power. We are currently busy with investigations. An update will follow during the course of the day."
