President Zuma conveys condolences for former police commissioner

President Jacob Zuma wishes to convey, on behalf of Government and the people of South Africa, his words of condolence and comfort to the family, friends and the South African Police Service for the sad passing of former Gauteng Police Commissioner Perumal Naidoo, who passed away after a long fight with cancer.
President Jacob Zuma wishes to convey, on behalf of Government and the people of South Africa, his words of condolence and comfort to the family, friends and the South African Police Service for the sad passing of former Gauteng Police Commissioner Perumal Naidoo, who passed away after a long fight with cancer.
"Commissioner Naidoo played a pivotal role in reducing all levels of crime in Gauteng over the close to ten year-period that he led the SAPS as it Commissioner. The country will miss his dedicated leadership, his steadfastness and his service to the community. May his soul rest in peace,” said President Zuma.
