[WATCH LIVE] Ramaphosa to address nation amid Covid-19 third wave
President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to address the nation on the latest Covid-19 developments on Tuesday evening.
He will address the nation at 8 pm.
Ramaphosa’s address follows a meeting of the National Coronavirus Command Council, the President’s Coordinating Council and Cabinet.
The country currently has 1.7 million cumulative cases and over 5000 new cases in the last 24 hours.
Gauteng has the highest number of cases at 509,397 and 3,701 new cases in the last 24 hours.
The country has so far vaccinated 1777 2888 people.
