Rand Water says it's going ahead with its planned maintenance this weekend which will see water cuts in various municipalities in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, and North West.

The month-long maintenance will start on Saturday, 22 June 2024 until it is completed on the 29th of July.
Rand Water spokesperson Makenosi Maroo says residents will have intermittent water supply.
“Rand Water will be embarking on an extensive maintenance project, of its infrastructure and assets. What it means is that we are going to be maintaining various municipalities. We are moving from area to area on different days. It simply means people will have water during the maintenance project.”
Rand Water has a planned maintenance which will take place from 22 June to 29 July 2024.
