SAWS: Heavy rain set to continue until Friday

The South African Weather Service has issued another warning for heavy rains and thundershowers in some parts of the country during the coming week.
Most provinces will experience isolated showers and thundershowers.
Weather forecaster Luthando Masimini says residents can expect a break from the wet weather on Friday.
"Because it’s summer we are expecting isolated showers and thundershowers over the central parts of the country. These include Gauteng, North West, the Eastern parts of the Northern Cape, Free State, northern parts of the Eastern Cape, the escarpment areas of KZN and Mpumalanga highveld, with the extreme southern parts of Limpopo expecting thundershowers as well.
"For Friday, it looks like a bit of a break for the country; we are only expecting isolated showers and thundershowers in Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga and the Limpopo Lowveld, as well as the Limpopo Valley.
"The other area that is indicated for rainfall is the KZN coast and adjacent interior, with the rest of the country not really signalling much in terms of rainfall.”
