Shock at sudden death of Phumlani Pikoli, son of top SA advocate Vusi Pikoli

The son of the former head of the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) Vusi Pikoli has passed away.
Phumlani Pikoli's lifeless body was discovered by his parents in his apartment on Sunday.
This is after both parents drove to Johannesburg when they could not reach him on his cellphone since Friday.

“The gruesome discovery of Phumlani’s lifeless body lying in bed is something that no parent needs to go through,” Vusi Pikoli said in a statement on Monday.
The 33-year-old Phumlani was a multimedia journalist and author.
A memorial service will be held for Phumlani on Wednesday, while the funeral will take place on Friday
