Six people, including four pedestrians, have been killed in a multi-vehicle crash at Mokopane in Limpopo.
It’s believed that a truck’s braked failed, causing it to crash in to five vehicles on Wednesday.
Limpopo traffic spokesperson Mike Maringa says the truck and vehicles subsequently burst into flames.
The truck driver and the passenger were all burned beyond recognition.
“It is alleged that the truck failed to brake at the corner of Thabo Mbeki and Retief streets, it crashed into five vehicles in front, lost control and knocked and killed four pedestrians before crashing into a bank building,” says Maringa.
