Solly Msimanga: Power outage was an act of sabotage
Updated | By MornéJK
Newly elected mayor of Tshwane, Solly Msimanga has blamed the power outage in the northern parts of Tshwane on an act of sabotage.
"We had received reports of planned service delivery strike in the area and we have also asked law enforcement agencies to look into the matter," Msimanga told Jacaranda FM news.
He said that they are also aware of plans of a "wild cat" strike at the Capital Park power grid, the biggest grid in Pretoria and that they are linking it to the power outage in the northern parts of the city last night.
"This is just to convenient and thus we do believe that there is an element of sabotage..." Msimanga added.
Msimanga said that they are aware of people that indicated they would not be able to work with the new administration but they would not tolerate this attitude.
