Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Power utility Eskom has announced that stage 2 load shedding will be implemented on Monday evening.
According to Eskom, Monday's blackouts are only expected to last for five hours.
Spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha says the utility will implement load shedding between 17:00 and 22:00.
"Stage 2 loadshedding will regretfully be implemented from 17:00 to 22:00 this evening as the power system is severely constrained."

The latest bout of rolling blackouts come hot on the heels of an almost week-long power cuts which were implemented by the power utility last week.
Last week Eskom began the power cuts on Tuesday, citing a loss of generation capacity.
Load shedding was later suspended on Saturday following a recovery in generating capacity.
