Two of the three accused in the Phala Phala farm theft case have been granted bail.
The two siblings, Froliana Joseph and David Joseph, appeared in the Bela Bela Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
Froliana was granted R 5000 bail, while her brother David was granted bail of R10 000.
They have pleaded not guilty to charges of housebreaking and theft.
They are accused of theft and housebreaking at President Cyril Ramaphosa's farm, known as Phal Phala, where 580,000 US dollars were stolen in February 2020.
Former spy boss Arthur Fraser accused Ramaphosa of trying to cover up the theft.
NPA Limpopo spokesperson Mashudu Malabi-Dzhangi said the bail application of the alleged mastermind Imanuwela David will be heard next month.
"The court found that it was in the interest of justice to release both accused on bail. The formal bail application of accused one Imanuwela David will be heard on 6 December, and the state will oppose bail."
