Limpopo Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba has ordered an investigation into the circumstances that led to the death of a man after a visit to a local clinic.

The man collapsed and died shortly after seeking treatment at the Ramupudu clinic on Wednesday.
According to community members, the man was apparently denied medical assistance by the clinic.
The department’s spokesperson Neil Shikwambana says the clinic apparently referred him to a hospital.
"The preliminary report that we received from the nursing staff at the clinic is that the man was seen at the clinic by professional nurse who actually recommended that he be referred to Groblersdal Hospital for further treatment.
"He however refused to go immediately to the hospital saying he need to first consult at home before he can take that particular decision to go the hospital.
"The nurses allowed him to go home because when it comes to medical admission and administration, the patient has the final say," says Shikwambana.
The department has called for calm in the community and allow investigations to unfold.
