WATCH: Limpopo police recover R2m in stolen cash

Two suspects were arrested on Wednesday in connection with the theft of R2.6 million from a cash-in-transit company in Makhado.

Police spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo says the first suspect was arrested at Ravele Riverside, while his accomplice was found at Elim Mabedengwa.
"This after information was received of a substantial amount of money that went missing from the cash-in-transit company in Louis Trichardt.”
Mojapelo says some the money was found buried in the yards of the suspects’ home.

"Some of the monies was also found in the premise owned by the mother of the 30-year-old suspect."
Mojapelo says one of the suspects had already bought a double cab, which was confiscated by the police.
The suspects will appear in the Louis Trichardt Magistrate Court on a charge of theft.
