Welkom parking lot killer suspects back in court
Updated | By OFM & Neo Motloung
The four men arrested in connection with a horrific murder
at the Commando Shopping complex in Welkom, will reappear in front of the local
magistrate's court again today.

The suspects made their first appearance on Friday.
Police spokesperson in the Free State, Sam Makhele, said that the men remain in police custody and the matter had to be postponed - as the suspects did not yet have legal representatives.
The 54-year-old victim, Shai Mikia Mohapi, was a mining official at Harmony Mines in Welkom.
Makhele could not confirm if the Mohapi murder was related to illicit mining in the area.
Mohapi was waiting in the car while his wife was inside the shopping centre.
The victim was approached by two unknown armed men who shot him several times at point blank range and pulled his body out from the vehicle before fleeing in his blue VW Polo.
Mohapi died at the scene and his vehicle was later discovered abandoned in near a mine in the area.
