'We've been very depressed with the electricity' - Ramaphosa

On Friday, Ramaphosa launched the District Development Model, which will be piloted in eThekwini before it's rolled out to other areas.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has acknowledged South Africans' frustrations with ongoing rolling blackouts as Eskom battles with electricity supply and demand.

"We've been very depressed with the electricity," says Ramaphosa.
On Friday, Ramaphosa launched the District Development Model, which will be piloted in eThekwini before it's rolled out to other areas.
He said he is aware that ratings agencies are very concerned about Eskom's ability to keep the lights on in South Africa.
"We've got to come up with answers. We've also got to deal with the management issues," said Ramaphosa.

Meanwhile, Eskom board chairman Jabu Mabuza says the conveyor belt that snapped at theMedupi power plant should be working by Wednesday.
