Witness shot dead outside Lenasia court
Police are searching for two suspects who fatally shot a 27-year-old man outside the Lenasia Magistrate's Court today.
The victim, a witness in an Eldorado Park murder trial, was approached and shot without warning.
One other person was wounded in the incident.
Gauteng police spokesperson Mavela Masondo has appealed to anyone with information to contact their nearest police station to aid the investigation.
“It is reported that the deceased was standing outside the court when he was accosted by two armed suspects who shot at him without saying a word. He was declared dead on the scene.”
