KZN government spokesperson Lennox Mabaso says the premier has not shown any symptoms and is doing well.
“The premier will carry on working from home, under strict adherence to all Covid-19 protocols. The work will include coordinating meetings aimed at leading the provincial government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
“The people of KwaZulu Natal are assured that the premier is well and does not have any symptoms of Covid-19.”
Mabaso says the province will ramp up its Covid-19 vaccination campaign.
“The KZN government is intensifying all efforts to beat and defeat the Covid 19 pandemic. This work includes ramping up the vaccination programmes across all the districts and the metropolitan areas in KZN.”
