Bishop was paragliding for two hours before landing in Namadgi National Park's Orroral Valley, Australia when he saw two kangaroos hopping towards him. The video footage was taken on his GoPro and shows one kangaroo charging directly at him.
At first, Bishop thought the kangaroo was friendly, asking it: "What's up skip?" However, this was not the case, and the situation soon took a turn for the worse with the animal attacking the paraglider twice before bouncing away.
Bishop, who is an Australians Airforce member, was able to escape the encounter uninjured.
