1. Get Plenty of Rest
Plan on sleeping and otherwise taking it easy for a few days. Seeing as fatigue is one of the main symptoms, so this shouldn't be too difficult. If you have a busy lifestyle then try get into bed a little sooner and wake up a bit later.
2.Drink drink drink
The flu can cause a loss of appetite, but make sure to consume loads of water.yucky Phlegm! It helps to keep things flowing and helps your body fight that yucky phlegm!
3.Humidify Your Home in Winter
Use a humidifier to get fresh air inside your house. There is nothing worse than a stuffy house when you are sick. Place the humidifier closer to where you are sleeping to clear out your airways.
4.Chicken Noodle Soup will always be one of the best flu home remedies. The broth (water) soothes the throat and the noodles are easy to swallow and helps give your body energy. You can either buy the canned soup or or use two minute noodles and eat it as a soup by leaving some water in your bowl or cup.
5. Honey
Nothing worse than waking the whole house up with a dry cough and then struggling to sleep because your throat is to sore! Add some honey Mix 1 tablespoon honey into 1 cup hot water, stir well, and enjoy. Honey acts as a natural expectorant, meaning it helps get rid of that Yucky phlegm!
