Orlando Pirates got the perfect send-off ahead of their massive showdown with Al Ahly in Sunday's CAF Champions League second leg final.
Hundreds of fans and well-wishers turned up to show their support. Minister of Sports Fikile Mbalula was also in attendance.
The Buccaneers will be without captain Happy Jele and Andile Jali who are both suspended for the match. The good news though, is the return of long-serving captain Lucky Lekgwathi who traveled with the team.
The last South African side to play in the CAF final was Mamelodi Sundowns back in 2001 where they lost to Al Ahly but the Soweto giants will be comforted by the 3-0 thrashing they handed the seven-time African Champions in their last meeting in Egypt.
