Don’t miss the deadline for Comrades 2018!

Runners who want to take part in the Comrades Marathon 2018 - the 93rd edition - are being urged to enter as soon as possible as entries for the event have been flooding in.
The entry period closes on November 30 or as soon as the cap of 20 000 has been reached.
So far, more than 16 181 entries have been received which means 80% of the spaces have been taken.
The Comrades Marathon Association says just 3 820 spaces remain.
Race director, Rowyn James says the excitement for the race could be attributed to the route change.
Next year's race will finish finish at the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium for the first time next year.
2018 will be the 46th Down Run in Comrades history. James is encouraging runners to enter before it is too late.
The early bird entry process, applicable to South African and African athletes closes on September 30. The race
takes place on June 10, next year.
