Fans welcome Sundowns home
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
There is a festive atmosphere at the OR Tambo International arrivals hall, where the pride of SA soccer, Mamelodi Sundowns, are expected to arrive soon.
They will touch down from Egypt after being crowned CAF Champions.
SAFA President Danny Jordaan is there and says it's wonderful that South Africa has a continental champion.
"They clinched this cup in the first round. It was an amazing experience in Atteridgeville and for Sundowns to score three goals on the day, I think very much closed everything," says Jordaan.
