Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Former Proteas fast bowler Allan Donald has described his induction into the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame at a ceremony in London as the best night of his career.
Donald was inducted on Thursday alongside India superstar Sachin Tendulkar and former Australia woman fast bowler Cathryn Fitzpatrick.
The 52-year-old played 72 Tests for South Africa taking 330 wickets. He also took 272 wickets in 164 ODIs.
"It was an incredibly special evening. I think, you know, it brings so many things in perspective when you receive something like this," he said.
"It takes you back right from when you started and who you started it with. Where you came from, the people who had amazing influences in your life."
