Former Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane will, on Wednesday, receive an honorary doctorate from the University of Johannesburg.

Mosimane is one of South African football's longest-serving and most decorated coaches, having won multiple major trophies at home and abroad.
He started his professional football career at Jomo Cosmos, before moving to Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.
Mosimane then moved overseas to clubs in Greece and Qatar, while also earning four caps for Bafana Bafana.
In 2001, he began his coaching career at SuperSport United before being appointed Bafana Bafana coach in 2010.
However, it was at Mamelodi Sundowns that he became a legend, winning multiple trophies and catching the attention of Egyptian giants Al Ahly, where he won two CAF championships.
Between 2022 and 2023, Mosimane moved to Saudi Arabia and UAE where he continued his coaching career.
On Friday, Mosimane will celebrate his 60th birthday.
