Kaizer Chiefs head coach Stuart Baxter and the club have reached an agreement regarding a new contract.
The Kick-Off website reports that the English-born tactician and the club finally agreed on personal terms on Tuesday.
The former Bafana Bafana mentor joined Amakhosi in June last year on a two-year deal which is set to expire at the end of the current season.
Baxter, 60, guided Chiefs to a cup double in his maiden season, winning the PSL title for the first time in seven years as well as defeating SuperSport United 1-0 to win the Nedbank Cup.
It is yet to be confirmed how long the new contract will be, with the club expected to release an official statement before the end of the week.
