Orlando Pirates appoints new coach
Updated | By JacandaFM Sport
Football club Orlando Pirates have appointed a relatively unknown Swede as the team's new coach.

Club chairperson Irvin Khoza has announced that 54 year-old Kjell Jonevret will be the struggling team's new coach.
"I'm looking forward to this a lot. When you think about African football in Scandinavia, everyone knows about Orlando Pirates. Orlando Pirates is African football to me," says Jonevret.
Jonevret takes over the reins from Turk Muhsin Ertugral, who quit the club after a public post-match announcement on SuperSport following an embarrassing 6-1 hiding by SuperSport United in November last year.
Development Director Augusto Palacios has been at the helm in a caretaker capacity since then, but their humiliating 6-0 drubbing by Mamelodi Sundowns has forced the club to accelerate the process.
Orlando Pirates sank to an 80-year low, now lying 10th in the Premier Soccer League after suffering a club record 6-0 defeat by Sundowns last weekend.
