PHOTO: Malherbe accused of biting USA prop
The British media on Thursday accused Springbok prop Frans Malherbe of sinking his teeth into USA lock Matt Trouville in their Rugby World Cup group clash on Wednesday.
The 64 - 0 victory for the Boks ended the group stage on a high note for the boys in green and gold, but the British media is calling this a 'biting scandal'
According to reports, Trouville said he could not recall the incident after he was show the photo, taken by Kevin Quigley for the Sportsmail.
The Citing Commissioner has until Friday to investigate, which could see a lengthy ban for Malherbe if found that the bite was intentional.
