Pollard shines as Leicester roar back to beat Gloucester
Updated | By AFP
Handre Pollard scored 14 points as Leicester stormed back to beat Gloucester 29-26 in an English Premiership thriller on Sunday.
Gloucester were on course to win at Welford Road for the second successive year after Max Llewellyn scored a hat-trick of tries for Gloucester.
Freddie Thomas also touched down, with Santi Carreras adding three conversions as their attack rattled Tigers.
But it was a totally different story after the interval as the Leicester pack took control.
Josh Bassett, Dan Kelly, Ollie Hassell-Collins and Pollard all scored tries, with the latter also kicking a penalty and three conversions.
Leicester climbed up to third place after their fourth win in five league games, with leaders Saracens and second-placed Bath above them.
Gloucester's fourth defeat in five games left them languishing in eighth place.
