There are three matches on Tuesday and five on Wednesday, kick-off set for 7.30pm in all fixtures.

Down in Cape Town on Tuesday, Orlando Pirates coach Muhsin Ertugral squares up to an Ajax side coached by former Bucs mentor Roger De Sa.

Abbubaker Mobara, who departed the Urban Warriors for Pirates in the off-season, admits to being slightly anxious about facing his former club.

“Obviously it will be a different feeling and very difficult at the same time. I have played with those players most of my football career, if not all my career.

“And now to play against them it will be strange but in football such things happen, and I have to focus on my duties at Pirates because that’s where I am now,” the Bafana Bafana defender added.

Also on Tuesday, Highlands Park play their first match in the top flight after promotion from the NFD, when they meet fellow promoted club Baroka FC in Tembisa.

The evening’s other action is in the Limpopo, where Bidvest Wits travel to take on Polokwane City.

There are two Absa Premiership matches in KZN on Wednesday – Golden Arrows host Cape Town City at the Prince Magogo Stadium, while Maritzburg United entertain Mamelodi Sundowns at the Harry Gwala Stadium.

Up in Tshwane, SuperSport United host Chippa United at the Lucas Moripe Stadium, with Kaizer Chiefs hosting Platinum Stars not far away in Soweto.

Then there is also a Free State derby to look forward to, Free State Stars to host Bloemfontein Celtic at the Goble Park Stadium.

It should be a cracker – both sides began the season with defeats and will be determined to claim maximum points. Last season saw Ea Lla Koto doing the double over Phunya Sele Sele, winning 1-0 at home and 2-1 away.

The fixtures (all start 7.30pm) are:

Tuesday:
Ajax Cape Town v Orlando Pirates, Cape Town Stadium
Polokwane City v Bidvest Wits Old, Peter Mokaba Stadium
Highlands Park v Baroka FC, Makhulong Stadium

Wednesday:

SuperSport United v Chippa United, Lucas Moripe Stadium
