Panasonic has announced its partnership with the fastest man in South Africa, Akani Simbine and world champion long jumper Rushwal Samaai.

The pair will also be ambassadors for the company's #MakeMeBetter campaign, which aims to support young athletes achieve their potential.
Simbine's first 'Make me Better" moment came when the Tuks/HPC runner equalled the SA 100m record and set an event record at the University Games in Gwangju South Korea.
He also shattered the SA record with a time of 9.96 at the ASA Night Series in Pretoria.
Samaai, attached to the University of Johannesburg (UJ), won bronze in the long jump at the 2024 Commonwealth Games and powered his way to gold in the African Champs this month with a superb jump of 8.40 metres.
