Steve Komphela joins Sundowns as senior coach

Steve Komphela has announced that he will be taking up a senior coaching role at Absa Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
Komphela announced his departure from Premiership side Golden Arrows on Sunday.
He then announced on Monday that he would be moving to Tshwane to join the coaching staff at the champions.
Sundowns is in the process of reconfiguring its coaching staff following the departure of coach Pitso Mosimane.
The 53-year old will work alongside the club’s new joint head coaches Manqoba Mngqithi and Rhulani Mokwena.
"I have been given an exciting opportunity to join Mamelodi Sundowns as senior coach and to work with its joint head coaches, Manqoba Mngqithi and Rhulani Mokwena,” Komphela said in a statement.
"I look forward to this exciting challenge and hope to contribute to the growth and success of Mamelodi Sundowns in South Africa and on the African continent.”
